Well it looks like I got the game as a bundle with my 5090, so after some nonsense with the nVidia app refusing to accept the code (I had to disable IPv6 from my ethernet to get it to work ... ffs), I managed to activate it on Steam and now installing! Quite happy with this, it seems I got the Premium Upgrade as well, which I think includes upcoming DLCs.

Will kick some demon ass tomorrow after work, then.

As a sidenote, I also got Star Wars Outlaws for free with the mobo, which I will take a look at this weekend.

Make sure to add the launch command to SW Outlaws to unlock max settings.

Wtf Thira is voiced by Debra Wilson that's why she sounds so fucking off. She looks 25-30 and sounds like a 70 yr old.

Played for an hour this morning (DOOM), the game plays very well.

Looks gorgeous as well. With everything on max (and I mean everything) without frame generation at native 3440*1440 I get 130 fps.

I didn't find any ray tracing options, is that on by default?

It's a ray traced game by default, the game is built around that. There's no version without RT.

That said, there'll be an update in June, introducing path tracing (they'll call it Full RT).

So what's everyone's general consensus. Worth? I get they need to do new fresh shit, but the trailers didn't feel like Doom to me. 2016 was a masterpiece. I still have yet to finish Eternal. I've quit like 3 times halfway through. It felt like they took 2016 and threw the kitchen sink at it. Too many gadgets, too much flying around. They gave it the TF2 treatment and just added way too much shit that didn't make it feel like Doom to me.
