Thread: Do you ride a freedom machine? Motorcycle thread
Do you ride a motorcycle? If you do, show it off in this thread.
I used to have a 250cc cruiser then switched to Honda cbf 600 naked and I really wanted to buy the Kawasaki z 1000 sx but I deemed it too expensive so I ended up buying a Honda CBF 1000. And I love the bike. Silky smooth japanese inline 4, 1000cc's but tuned more for torque. I ride it a lot, it's my vent alongside videogames.

Once and only once. I was 14 and my buddy's dad gave him a Honda 150cc. Was a real POS. But it was one of those on road/off road bikes. Never having ridden one prior, it was exhilarating if not downright terrify. Straight lines, awesome sauce (probably never went over 50mph), turns on a wet road.... not so much.
Though I have always wanted a cruiser, but my wife has it on the list of things I cant do. (Includes parachuting, red heads and a few other odds and ends). So all you bastards should relish in your glorious freedom... cu I am jelly.

Tell her, it's a motorcycle, or redheads!

This. And if I were you, I'd have my fingers crossed for redheads.
Gingers are my kryptonite. I used to ride a motorbike when I lived in Thailand, generally not a good way to stay alive given Thais tend to drive on whichever side of the road they feel like that day, but I never had a single accident. Lots of shenanigans though like driving on the pavement to avoid waiting for traffic lights. I went native a bit and scared the shit out of tourists.

I remember trying to ride a motorbike once. I think I was about 20yrs old and my father-in-law gave me a really quick crash course (how apt) on how to ride. Boy, did he fucking regret not going into a bit more detail, because about ten seconds later I t-boned his '78 Camaro. I've not been on a bike since. Lol

Was warm last night. Thought, hey, let's take a break from vidya games and shit posting on PAD and go for a ride.

If you don't know, I live in the car-deer accident Capitol of the world. Fucker jumped out in front of me, I missed it's hind legs by about 10 feet. Definitely made me slow down....for a few anyway.

Not sure if anybody gives a shit now that and 3 others is gone, but Ducati just announced their newest V4 superbike

Double sided swingarm on a Ducati still seems just as wrong as it was with the 999

Never had or rode one, but Sons of Anarchy certainly made me think about it a few times:

I think I'd choose a classic muscle car over a motorcycle if I wanted to buy a vehicle based solely on the coolness factor, but they're both awesome

I have an Aprillia RS660. 2024. Acid gold with the Italian racing graphics. I threw on an Akropovic exhaust system as well. Love it. Turns a lot of heads.

That 660 motor from Aprilia is supposed to be a great powerplant. Seems to get rave reviews in everything they put it in. The RS is probably the best looking bike in that segment too! Nice.

I am currently in talks with a dealer to pick up one of these:

My transition into an ADV bike riding old man will be complete!

Nice! I wouldn't mind getting one myself, but I live on the Florida east coast and our roads are pretty boring.
