I feel like the easiest way to tell what type of person they are is by observing whether they put their shopping carts back in the proper place or not. I always put my cart back in the cart racks as that is the decent and considerate thing to do that requires little to no effort. The worst is when a cart is right next to your car that it can potentially bum into your car and damage it. Fucking inconsiderate assholes.

Of course, it is almost compulsive. I usually shop late at night after cart returns start, so I will return it to a rack with carts too.

I do not understand how people can be so lazy to leave carts in parking spaces, especially with how the parking lot grade can make them roll.

Yep and packers who help with the groceries, I tip very well.

When I was in high school, worked at my uncle's grocery and its actually a lot of work especially in the beating sun.

It was my first job too when I was 15. I actually really liked it. I got to be outside, got a bit of a workout, listened to music and I have a soft spot for old people, so I always liked to help carry groceries to their cars. Funny enough, I'd see the elderly returning their carts often and I'd take it from them, meanwhile younger people with the ability to do so would leave them and drive off.

Is that an American thing to not return it? Is it common?

Never seen it in Germany or another country I visited.

Every time. If I park and there is an abandoned cart in view either myself or my wife is going to put it where it belongs. Shit drives us crazy.

Of course. Why the hell would I want to make someone's crappy miserable job even worse by causing them to have to round up all the carts before hauling them all back inside the store? Just imagine having to do that in the rain/snow. People who don't return their carts to the cart stall are lazy self-absorbed jerks.

Yes. How hard is it to push a cart 50 metres?

Also, I want my $1/$2 back.

you saw the 4chan meme for the first time didn't you?

Always ,seeing people not bring it back really grinds my gears , it's like how lazy can you be .
Younger able bodied people tend to do this more often

I can also tell what kind of person you are by the way you park, if you color your hair rainbow shit colors, and if you wear a mask.

Funny enough not too long ago, I pulled into a parking spot at my grocery store. Dumb lady next to me parked slightly over the line into my spot. As I'm getting out, she rolls down her window and says "Hey would you mind moving your car? I can't get out." I said you can't get out because you parked over the line into my spot, you move. She just says "Oh..." like she couldn't believe someone called her out for being an asshole.

I throw them down a hill so Bubbles can take them and fix them and resell them.. he has his kitties to feed and it's how he makes a living

That 4 chan post is pretty spot on. The person that doesn't return the buggy ALWAYS looks like that person who doesn't return the buggy.

They also probably don't clean up after their dogs (have you witnessed the motherfucker whores who will leave the poop bag ON TOP of the garbage bin? I will kill a fucker if I actually see them do this.).
