If you liked the other shows you'd def like Loki, I'd say. If you like the char Loki or time travel stuff, Owen Wilson is fun in it... uh... it's got some woke stuff but it's not Falcon level, but it definitely has a "girls get it done" vibe a bit and Loki is sort of a goof who's usually wrong or has a bad plan or something but they do a great job with his character all the same. It also has big implications for the rest of the MCU going forward.
I havent watched a full marvel movie or show since the Winter soldier, i have only seen youtubes of the avenger movies and then for loki i watched the emergency awesome episode breakdowns each week

I hate marvel stuff now.... I'm two episodes in and it's meh.... live action version of Rick and morty. I'll probably finish it since it's only 6 episodes.

I mean it touches many of the hot button political issues like Me Too and stuff but it gives both sides a fair shake. It's well written and the issues are more of a back story and not in your face. It's how most shows should write about social issues...Not ignore them and write about them in a tactful manner.
The main story is a bunch of social rejects trying to kill the capers. It's fucking amazing and completely different than any other super hero shit. It's almost a black comedy.
Homelander is probably the best written character since Joffrey in game of thrones. He's a real son of a bitch.

Yeah this was my takeaway on it. Owen Wilson is always fun and Loki is a cool character, or at least he was before this show. The character best known for his schemes and manipulative nature gets outwitted and outmaneuvered at nearly every opportunity because you can never have a man show up a woman in these things anymore. And the torture time loop they put him in in one of the later episodes was just stupid. hurr durr he gets kicked in the balls eternally gah-huhhhhh guys and their balls lolllll
It's not the worst thing they've put out since Endgame but it's kind of a letdown as a fan of the character. But if you for some reason still care about the MCU going forward it's kind of a must-watch I suppose.
Maybe season 2 will be better.
I liked his progression as a character even if they did some of those eye-rolling things, tho.
Tho Sylvie outwits him and bests him she's also a broken person who doesn't experience a character arc like Loki does, she's essentially a villain by the end.
Their shows have been terrible. I guess part of me wishes I could watch these and turn my brain off, but I just can't.
By the time I was 5 or 6 episodes into WandaVision, I realized I have to just give up on Disney making anything I like anymore. The parts with Wanda and Vision for the first few episodes was pretty cool, but everything else after that and surrounding it felt like a cheap show on The CW. I don't know how people can stomach it, let alone strongly recommend it.

Watch Logan. All other capeshit since TDKR is gay af btw.
Logan would have been so much better if it followed Rogue instead and was about her personal struggles as a female mutant in a world where it was already hard enough just being a woman. It could have even been shot as a series of her therapy sessions with big revelations like how Cyclops made her feel uncomfortable but she couldn't say anything because of him being a man in a position of power.

Yeah I'd have to agree.
WandaVision was okay but I don't like Wanda. Agatha stole the show.
Falcon "WE CAN ALL DO BETTER!" and Winter Soldier sucked balls out of a rotten, bloody asshole.
Loki though was fun and I like Loki and Sylvie wasn't bad and I loved the whole Variants things. Lol at boomer Loki in the comic book costume and alligator Loki.
The whole Alioth concept was cool.
I did not like the Kang.... Or well, Kang variant. He was annoying. But apparently he's not the real Kang or just one of many. I dunno, "they wuz Kangs n' shit".
Overall though it was a cool ride for a TV show.

Tinfoil hat theory....I don't know why I just decided to watch Loki again but a few key details almost seem so obvious where you look at how everything is setup in the near future....I do believe Sacha Baron Cohen is slated to play Mephisto....factor in that Loki is a show all about the Time Variance BS.
Watch the first episode again under the pretense that the character Mobious is either Mephisto himself or somebody working on Mephisto's behalf. Without saying anything else, if you have that mentality going in it changes the entire Loki show to go from being about Time, the Time Police, and Kang.....and really about the biggest threat that's trying to fuck with the Multiverse and who better to recruit than........Loki
All you need to do is watch the first episode under that pretense and you can see this entire show is a fucking swerve.

It was the last one I watched, and completely butchered and neutered Loki compared to his previous character arc and capabilities, properly started us down the Multiverse rabbit hole where nothing matters and there's no real stakes to anything, and made it all about girl Loki who was yet another insufferable feminist power fantasy.
