Never heard of RJs liquorice. Just looked it up and the only ordinary shop that stocks it seems to be Holland & Barrett.

I haven't been there since the pandemic began. You're not wrong about the premium price. I'll still grab pack out of curiousity.
Wasn't aware of its connection to blood pressure. Gonna have to look into that.

These days, I can't bring myself to binge through a pack of sweets (or anything else for that matter).

Yeah RJs is imported and I only see it in Holland and Barratts these days. It's like a soft teary molasses style Liquorice versus hard. Good Stuff, but yeah, pricy. Which is why it's a rare treat.

Dude was eating a lot though by the sounds of it, so I don't think they'll be slapping warning labels on it quite yet. I'd imagine life expectancy for QA workers in a liquorice factory is kind of short though.
