Could you live in this tiny Japanese apartment?

Thread: Could you live in this tiny Japanese apartment?
If I were like a refugee or something similar and had literally nothing but my documentation with me then I could imagine living there for a year or so until I got my bearings and landed a decent job to move somewhere better.

If I was a Jew and was hiding from the Gestapo, sure, nice place you got there.

Outside of that scenario, I can't imagine any other reason I'd ever want to set food in that place.

If I were single...totally. I lived in a 210sqft studio apartment for a couple years in LA and it was fine. A little more space, but a very similar setup. Mini fridge, hotplate tiny bathroom and so on.

Edit: Oops, had the "3" was suppose to be a "2"

In Japan people are going to be more out and about than staying indoors so i can see how spaces like that work. Also explains why handheld gaming is so popular over there. Ngl that location does look sick for someone in their 20's to live in

What size is your apartment tay?
 
Yes, I could, but it would be cramped, no doubt. I'm not small (6'2") and it seems likes it would be tough to get too comfortable. But I'm also very much a minimalist at heart and always feel better when I "shed stuff" from my life. So, I could do it, but I'd end up spending most of my times outside, I'm sure.

So when I say I could live there, I'd sleep, eat and shower, but that would be about it, ha.
 


Holy shit this apartment is even worse. I would have a heart attack looking down the windows. Never mind the privacy concerns

wtf. I couldn't live in a place where I literally can't lie down and fully stretch my limbs. Also I wouldn't be able to use the toilet with such little leg room left and right, lol. For 1000 dollars a month, it's a total scam. I could see this as super-cheap 100 dollars-appartment for desperate people.

Honestly, these apartments are pretty impressive with how they use the small space. And having your cafeteria where they cook your meals. Why can't the USA have this stuff lol
