Honestly getting sick of the tight fists of game companies. If this was a remaster Trilogy — Bravely, Bravely Second, and Bravely 2 — it would be a great deal. But single remasters are sooooo PS4 era. There's already too much to play. Give us the package deal or get lost.

Bravely Default is honestly very lucky to get a full fledged Remaster as a new Nintendo console launch title after two underperforming/mixed sequels. Most franchises never get that chance.

Bravely Default is a Job System Final Fantasy spinoff taking inflience from Final Fantasy V.
Also Dragon Quest, SaGa, and of all fucking things
Higurashi.
Bravely Default and it's Default combat system were made by Team Asano and eventually directly inspired Octopath Traveler 1/2 and the wave of HD-2D JRPGs and JRPG remasters.
Most of the known issues from the DS release have been addressed, with options like Quick Battle.

It's kind of a love or hate type game because of the 2nd half. I fall in the side that didn't like it after finishing it despite really enjoying the first half of the game.
