Thread: Black Myth: Wukong Discussion and Reviews Thread
Damn, might have to pick this one up. I'm not really interested in the protagonist or the setting, but it looks like it turns out quite well.

Looks good. I watched ACGs review and he said you need a beast of a rig to run it on high settings. I'm confused about the inclusion shit. I didn't know the main character is a monkey and you fight animal bosses. How do these freaks complain about diversity in THIS game? I'll end up picking it up.

Yeah the main character looks like a normal woke trans woman.

I like the sound of the combat system stances. I'm assuming crushing = strong attacks, thrusting = weak attacks to build focus, and pillar = defense (either blocking or acrobatics).

Is this better then Lies of P? I've seen a lot of comments Lies of P was a huge surprise and is considered the outright best Non From like a From game, though more akin to a Bloodborne spiritual successor.

I've played all the From games and it's the only Soulsborne game I played that matches the quality (I'd say it's about middle of the pack). It is more like Sekiro than Bloodborne though.

How'd he get these stats? A shitload of people are playing the game on Facebook gaming groups lol

Sounds like left wing propaganda

These states are accurate. Just look at the daily Steam chart graphs about concurrent players. Like two million people stop playing when it's night time in China and start playing again when it's China gaming time.

PC gaming good. Mods let you disable the over sharpening, also implements the better shadow maps for the non RT version, making the non RT shadows look worlds better.

Left vanilla, right modded

Vanilla vs modded

Then again it's 2m out of 10 millions copies sold. I dont buy this. I know way too many people who purchased this.

I'd buy this game in an heartbeat if it was my kind of game.

That 2 million is just for steam and doesn't include Wegame(Chinese PC platform) numbers

steam all time peak is 2.4 millions two days ago, as of right now there's 1.2 millions people playing the game

Again, bullshit

No, that's 2 mil active concurrent players over the course of the day from China, which is always way lower than the sold copies. Obviously not everyone who bought a copy is playing always at the same time, it's only a fraction of customers.

China is an insanely huge market, it's a game by a local studio, a game about a story that's important to the Chinese, so they support it like crazy.

Dunno where your denial comes from, it's pretty logical.

Can anybody playing explain why you would want Composure (dodging no longer interrupts light attack combo)? Seems like a I'm trading Bayonetta for Dark Souls, but is their an advantage besides unlocking the rest of the skill tree?

Game feels breezy compared to "Soulslike"… don't think I'm getting punished for death besides checkpoint. Banging my head on the Withering Wight (maybe early? I snuck around him and unlocked the next shrine) and then going after the fire staff fella before what seems like maybe a point-of-no-return?

This is very fun. A lovely place to be.
