Thread: Bioshock (2007)
An OK shooter that stood out due to an excellent art style. The location was lovely but in truth it didn't really push the medium forward in any meaningful way, nor do much new.

10 hours in on hardest exploring everywhere. Just finished Arcadia and the Farmers Market. Feel a lot stronger now to take on the Big Daddys fairly easily. Had one loading loop and one hard crash in the 10 hours... so not too bad. Loving the game still and looking forward to moving on to Bioshock 2 and Infinite in the next few weeks.

At Ryan's office, but second hard crash... while it was saving. Took out my auto save.. sent me back about 45 minutes. Amazing game but I think in this case it's better to play on console/Epic. Still going to play on for 4k 120 FPS but yeah its not the most stable (but certainly not the worst).

I had just a few crashes during the game - all of them during quick saving (and I quick save a lot). Every time I lose quick save, thankfully autosaves was intact.
Also, games often froze when I was alt-tabbing during area loading screen.
No other complaints though, the game is still great.

I completed it this morning. Just doing those three puzzle rooms before I move on. I think it crashed 5 times in 17 hours, so not too bad. I know the last third of the game gets a bit of bad press but I enjoyed it just the same. Even the last fight was quite exciting.

Are you planning on playing Bioshock 2 anytime soon?

No, I don't have it in my library, want to deal with my backlog - starting with Disco Elysum.

No shit, Disco Elysium is an absolute all time great. It's a game you'll have on your mind for months after you finish playing it.

It was my last ever PS5 game, I think I was about 12 hours in. Not sure how far that is. I'll definitely be playing it again, just waiting for a bit of time to pass.

Yeah, I'm already thinking about this game whole day... it's something incredible. Quoting myself from What are you currently playing thread:

I've read a lot about Disco Elysium and decided to give it a try at last.

Downloaded, installed, started the game and man... I didn't notice how 4.5 hours flew. I was like a sheet of paper caught by the sudden wind completely unaware where the wind takes me. I still don't understand what exactly is this game about and how to play it properly I just read, think and try to make proper decisions. This is probably the ultimate RPG.

Absolute fucking masterpiece of a thing. Beautiful art, incredible world building, great characters with incredible writing, a wonderful mystery to solve, it's just perfection.
