I bought this in the Epic sale. I went straight into the portal server browser and played TDM24 which seems to exclusively feature BF 3 maps. This game is fucking great.

Here's the thing: Battlefield 2042 is really good now

Its not bad now. A little too late though damage was done.

I wish the game had more destruction in it and the maps are kind of bleh. Nothing really iconic or memorable.

But the gunplay is always top notch.

Unfortunately the best map was the beta map, Orbital. They resigned a few maps and made them substantially worse for the "fun" factor.

The loop was always good. Unfortunately it needs a few new maps which we'll never get.
