IGN has published a 13-minute gameplay video of the Naps Team-developed cel-shaded action adventure game Baldo: The Guardian Owls.

Baldo: The Guardian Owls is planned for release first on Switch, followed by PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A release date has yet to be announced.

Nice art direction. Appeals to my eyes. Gameplay looked like the standard iso adventure setup. But I didn't see any combat. Game not have any? Which would be fine as long as the story/errands/puzzles are worthwhile.

Haha, I was just thinking how much it looks like my kids would like this when my 3 year old walked in to give me my food and he just froze there watching the trailer.

I really like the art direction. They've created a really coherent world that actually reminds me of being a kid. Good job to the devs. Hopefully it comes to gamepass but I'll probably try it out either way, at least for the kids.

I think this was just displaying some of the exploration. It looked like a bunch of cutscenes where even edited out. In the cave I did see creatures that he was avoiding so I'm thinking they're just saving revealing the combat for later.

Every time I see the name of this game I like to say it in a gravelly Spanish accent, but I make my voice crack a tiny bit half way through saying it: Bahhhhll-doh.
