A new RPG based on the popular board game and the works of H.P. Lovecraft was recently released for Switch, Playstation, Xbox and PC.

You choose from different detectives and explore and find clues to a world shattering mystery. The game uses turn based tactical combat and is separated by chapters.

It looks dull

It's not the most exciting but I've watched most of the playthrough and I like it. I bought a copy on GOG and thinking about getting the Switch version.

I also want to get the Call of Cthulhu Official game on Switch.

One thing I like about this new game Arkham Horror is that it explores another part of the Mythos thst isn't Cthulhu or Dagon. You can guess pretty easily which part it does explore by the subtitle alone.

The downside is the voice acting is bad. Like 90s video game voice acting bad almost.

When you put it like that I understand the interest

Yeah for once it's not about Cthulhu at all. It seems like every Lovecraft Mythos game is either about Cthulhu, Dagon or something related to Cthulhu.

Arkham Horror: Mother's Embrace barely even mentions him.

Now regarding the rest I admit my bias since I like games directly based on Lovecraft's works.

It's an indie title of course so don't go in expecting much. It's also incredibly short. I think it can beat in about 6 hours or less.

Ughhhhhh not allowed to spend money until I move in July but I'm dying to try this one. I'm a huge fan of Arkham Horror LCG which if anyone's ever down to play on TTS...I'd be down to clown.
