Android and Apple both have the same interface. Android you can use any files and programs. Apple your stuck with their trash iTunes.

Not only is Android easier you also have more freedom.
Sure I'd your a brain dead normie who sucks Tim apples dong and spends a mark up for crappy music and video files I guess it's easier to pay a premium so you can use iTunes.

Meanwhile you can go and get any movie or song you want and drag 20 GB of files and plop them into your phone and play them on any player you want. But I guess that's too difficult for people who were born before the steneograph was invented.

Wanting to hoard digital media without going on torrents requires the use of a digital media store, and itunes is just the best one there is. They are sort of like steam in that regard, they have the biggest catalogue and are the easiest to use.

Also I have about 20 years of itunes music purchases and I can't be bothered burning them all to CD and reimporting them onto the computer. If the iTunes store is ever discontinued, then I would save my purchases but until then I'll be just fine using iOS together with iTunes for my media purchases.:coffee:

I literally ditched iTunes just to get away from all that synchornization hell. If I want it on my phone, I'll drag it over. If I want to download it, I'll download it. If I wanted it removed, I'll either delete it while plugged into my computer or use my phone's file system app to go delete it by hand. No syncs necessary!

Yeah, no, I'll never buy into Apple's ultra walled garden bullshit. They're no fun at all.

I've had a few Androids, I've had one iPhone. iPhone is easier to use. My current phone is Android but I'm considering going back to iPhone soon, despite my current Android being about 70-80% setup as I would like. I like the messaging way more on iPhone and how easy it is to navigate virtually everything whether it be apps, websites, settings. Android is more customizable in some ways but takes a bit more effort to do things. If you were to ask me which one in the mid 2010s it's Android, but shortly after that and currently my preference is still Apple's iPhone

Don't they basically have the same software ?

I mean if you want to open a web browser on your phone don't you just click the icon ? Change a setting? Ok go to the settings icon and chose from the menu ?...

Both have apps. Both have app drawers. Both are touch screens. How is Apple "easier " ? There the same thing. The only thing I can see is sharing walled garden content between apple devices. But I just don't get how an Ios is any different than android when it comes to actual phone functionality.


The only difference I see is on android I can click a button in the settings and then sideload any content I want on my phone. Apple I can't do that.

Oh God I hate Apple. Am always forced to use them because of work, every company gave me an iPhone and they suck. I'm using Google Pixel phones and they're pretty awesome.

#1 this requires owning a piece of shit overpriced Mac computer. #2 this can be done with android phones too using the Phone Link app in Windows. The computer just needs to have bluetooth.

Apple and iPhones suck giant donkey balls, and they are all pieces of overpriced garbage.

I'm still rocking my S10+ lol. This thing is really damn good. The screen still looks great and I've gone and looked at the newest models and they size difference is so negligible. I assume I'll grab a S24 Ultra when it goes on a steep discount or just wait for the next year's model.

I'd use an iPhone, but I'm not a 14 year old girl who can't even set an oven timer.

I want to add there's also little known app Kdeconnect, which allows for some pretty awesome integration between devices, and it can do like all kinds of different devices and OS's, including the apple crap apprently, I use it between my Android phone and my Linux PC and the Deck, all seamlessly connected to one another. Every few days I discover a new feature I wasn't aware of, last one was if you're playing a video on one device and your phone rings, it'll pause the video on that device for you, then it'll resume playaback when you hang up, pretty cool stuff. I highly recommended it.

@cryptoadam to me iPhones are much more user friendly. Here are my examples and my experiences

-More fluid interface
-Messaging is better with iPhone
-Better or more responsive touch screens
-Easier to change volume settings
-Apps are organized in a neater fashion
-Screen capturing is better with iPhone
-Side buttons on iPhone I prefer to Android's

One thing that annoyed me about my current Android was that it somehow came with a lot of annoying shit already within the phone's data as in apps that I hated were part of the setup and apparently many of them are necessary for the phone's optimal functioning. I deleted some of the ones that I could, but my iPhone never came with like 8-10 bullshit apps and told me no don't delete this bullshit you need it so the phone can work properly. Like three or four of these so-called 'necessary' apps just feed the front screen a bunch of useless celebrity gossip articles too. It's annoying. I just want a simple phone that gets the job done. I'm not one of those PC lovers who spends days or weeks out the month trying to optimize everything and make sure each aspect of a piece of tech is perfect down to each pixel and whatnot. I'd rather be spending that time elsewhere

Out of nowhere early into my new Android phone, apps that should not have ads started playing ads. Never had this issue with an iPhone, not even once. Another problem is that the battery in my new Android has already noticably declined before even a few months of use... I will probably never return to Android because of these issues. I doubt even the worst iPhones from a comparable 2020-2021 timeframe present even a tenth of the obstacles I've had with this Android I have now. I consider it an inferior phone

Right now I'm just trying to upload some pics from my Switch and the phone is fucking up and won't even let me save pictures. So many things are a step or two if not three easier with the iPhone. I'm tired of having to look up all this useless shit to do simple things that the iPhone can do in seconds. Android = paying $45 to cook your own food and breathe in carcinogenic smoke for an hour at Korean BBQ. Apple = Michelin Star restaurant with actual service
