Thread: Agent 64: Spies Never Die trailer (PC Gaming Show)
Interesting, I'll have to play the demo to see how the shooting feels. It looks like it copies the Rare auto aim, but it's a PC game.

I'd be very happy if they copied the mission style. Speaking of missions, you just know that the intent is for people to recreate the two games, or at least Goldeneye. Let's see how far it lets you get.

That actually looks really neat. I like how they added an UE style level editor to it, as I have no idea how GE64 rom hacking works. Style is like a weird blend of GE and PD.

Looks a little smoother than normal rom hacks.

They nailed the Goldeneye feel. I was so disappointed by Goldeneye's absence so I'll happily play this over nothing.

So I just played the demo. Mouse is tolerable if you have it set to max sensitivity. Even on '64 Agent' (it's equivalent of 00) the auto aim is pretty crazy.

So, the game doesn't feel like Goldeneye at all but rather Agent Under Fire. It's also made with Unity.

Yeah I mean this. The level editor stuff could be cool to mess with I suppose. But would I actually spend the time to mess with it? Extremely doubtful.
I'll partially take this back. Played the demo level (but it didn't let me leave at the bottom presumably because I missed one of the bombs to defuse. I did three, I guess there were at least four. But anyway this was more fun than expected and maybe I'll consider picking up the full game after it's out.

Was wondering what was going on with this. Had been pretty silent since that demo came out. Glad to hear it's allegedly nearing release.

Ever since the disappointment of the Goldeneye remaster, my attention is now on this. Shame there wont be multiplayer though.
