I guess I just don't understand your definition of the word "gamer". For me a "gamer" is somebody who plays games.

That's exactly the definition I provided, what you got wrong was the assumption that just because gamers as a collective suck it means I'm saying that individual gamers can't be fine. No matter how you slice, including casuals or just counting hardcore gamers.

Let's say some dude fucking hates Jeep cars because they broke on him, let him down, made promises that they didn't live up to or he simply thinks that they look like shit and are crap, should he pretend he likes Jeep cars just so Jeep fans are not offended?
People think the mature thing is neutrality when in fact the mature thing is to not care how you look if it's just your honest opinion. It's pretty obvious that most of us are not neutral in our preferences, I just don't try to hide it at all and see no reason why I should. I never review bombed, lied or spread any false information about Xbox, I just don't like it and I think Phil Spencer has done a terrible job, so whenever it comes up my opinion is very negative but it's not like I went out of my way not to like it, I actually had an Xbox before I had any PlayStation.

Why do adults act like children nowadays? This is a sad age to live in.
Good times create weak men. I don't even care that so many of them act like children, it's the fact that they believe themselves to be so righteous and that they should be making policy that's the big issue for me. If these people would just stay in their little corners, everything would be fine. Rumor has it that Sessler and Morgan had a huge falling out over his association with Zoe Quinn. Adam you'll recall went to bat for Zoe when Gamergate was at it's height and Morgan hated that Quinn was getting Adam hooked on drugs during this time.
They still stay in contract though, mostly through Adam's wife whom Morgan is still close with.

He's just acting like a petulant child because his attempts at video game TV has been rejected twice by the larger fanbase and now he thinks shit posting will some how get back at them or something.
This would be a good time to do some honest self reflection on why exactly G4 didn't survive in the first place and why the reboot didn't work (you know, like it doesn't make sense to do a big budget TV style video game show anymore!) but of course he's not going to do that because Sessler's a bitch. Instead, he has just decided to become something he claims he always hated: a troll.
It's actually pretty sad but I imagine he spends his days drinking into a stupor, lamenting the bum hand that life has given him and that nothing was his fault.
