Why Switch 2 exclusive? It clearly isnt using the power of the Switch 2. It looks like it could run on Switch 1. Heck could run on a Wii.
The free update is cool you knew Switch 2 would get a boost
TBH instead of this spin off if they needed to buy time for Splatoon 4 they should have released 1 2 3 +dlc in an ultimate version with better frames and improved visuals.
But ya if I was a splat fan and owned a Switch 1 I would be oissed because there is 0 reason this game can't be cross gen.

Green and orange logo definitely evoke Salmon run, but so far just saw some dippy Inkling walking.
Getting it either way, but I don't know who it's actually for me or my fiancé yet lol.
Splatoon 3 10.0 looks sick! They really crack these games out in the end.

They are gonna save Splat 4 for 2027 or later.
Nintendo will need to space out their big hitters to keep the Switch 2 selling.
Mario is probably 2026. Splatoon 2027. AC 2028. Zelda 2029.

Was just playing Splatoon 2 on Switch 2 last night. I can't really justify buying 3 for full price when there's still a healthy online community for Splatoon 2.

Wow that's crazy. I wonder if it was just a feature not used a lot, or if it was used a lot, and Nintendo thought maybe taking it out could force more kids to beg for their own Switch and/or copy of the game.
