If the OG one didn't work I'd bite the bullet but since it does, they can fuck off with that $85 dollar price tag.

I think my launch lineup will be Mario Kart World, TOTK $10 patch, and playing the rest of Bowser's Fury with the free update.

I'm glad Donkey Kong is coming a month later because that would feel a little light for a launch lol

I wonder if I'll end up needing some kind of grip to make it more comfortable to use as a handheld.

My wife doesn't really do any of that stuff, but what she does do is spend $4 pretty much every single day on a freaking iced green tea from Starbucks. That shit adds up.

Only $4? Or is it more like $6 or $7? And what about a tip, does she do that?

My wife has a serious thing for Scooters these days. It practically costs like $7 to scoot on around. Thankfully she only drives by there at most a couple of times per week.

She doesn't get the expensive frappucino type crap. It's just iced green tea and usually costs $4 maybe $4.50 tops. Still lol. That much for essentially a teabag and ice. Every day. Literally every day. Almost never misses a day.

EDIT the upside is that she is self aware enough to realize it's ridiculous, and consequently she really never gives me shit about anything I buy, within reason.

I may have to actually do that, but I'm not sure if I want to sell my limited edition red switch. I love this thing and it doesn't go for a ton or anything. But it would help justify buying this new Switch.
 
Someone posted an article recently about how the Japanese have been selling out so rapidly of pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 that stores are only allowing their best customers to sign up for pre-orders. I'm glad that it wasn't that insane over here to get one. Still took a targeted effort towards the goal and acting immediately on it but at least most of us in the uS and probably Europe can get one on the first day

I saw that too. There are times when I want to preorder something when I wished our retailers did it that way. All those Anniversary editions and things that no real person has much of any chance at getting would have been possible if I was "a good Walmart customer" or some stupid shit like that.

Plugged my Switch OLED in anticipation of Switch 2 and I'm playing Mario Galaxy 1! :D The game still holds up well. I also pre ordered Donkey Kong bananza

I love that game. And I didn't like it like 3 times in a row when trying over the years. But for some reason it stuck last time and now I want another galaxy

It's DK that has me, but MK looks quite good.

I'm also gonna play Bowsers Fury (free update) and Metroid Prime Remastered on it. I am excited by the bigger and better screen and hopefully better ergonomics.
