lol TotK was an enhanced BotW. How long are they going to keep squeezing every drop out of it?
With all the stuff that made TOTK a better game than BOTW to me, I don't see myself caring about a BOTW remake/remaster/upgrade.

After seeing the leak I was hoping it was for a Little King Story sequel... but if the codename for Breath of the Wild was U-King then I don't see how it could be anything else.
I'm guessing it'll be Tears of the Kingdom with higher framerate, greater LoD especially at a distance, enhanced physics, stuff like that.

Same here. I don't see the appeal of a BOTW remaster/port/whatever when TOTK did everything better.
Maybe it sounds entitled, but TotK should have been the second half of BotW. Cut down the map size some to condense the content and put a little more in the depths and the upheavel would have been a great mid-game twist, even with the Divine Beast dungeons being kind of lame.
I would hope a remaster might take that into account, but knowing Nintendo they would never try merging the games.

I prefer the story in BotW over the one in TotK, but if they would give BotW caves and retcon the TotK as the aftermath... basically just pretend that didn't happen and just focus on rebuilding the kingdom. I'd be in for that BotW remake.

I loved BotW and TotK, but I miss what 3D Zelda used to be. At the very least, I hope the next game can strike a good balance between new and old 3D Zelda. I'll be a bit disappointed if the next game is just TotK on steroids.

Now that I give it more thought, it wouldn't be out of Nintendo's character to retcon BotW's story to compensate for TotK's nonsensical story.
