Its worth a shot.....(me)

Work is not how u get jacked tay 🧐
Well maybe unless you're a farmer then i stand corrected.

Work is how you keep from getting fat, but it won't get you shredded.

Theres plenty of hard labor jobs that will keep you fit, but you won't be making gainz.

I work a hard labor job myself. But gym is gym 😤

The best thing about lifting weights and eating better is the monumental boost in my judgment of others. I can be 2 days into not eating Little Caesars for every dinner, and I'm already judging anyone slightly fatter than me. Beautiful.

Dude i miss this

Hate fat people, including myself 😅

I can honestly say im at a point where im feeling "jacked" my barbell bench press has gotten to 325. I definitely look muscular and have gained some considerable weight and size. Gym homies have definitely said things to me. Every gym session i borderline leave in tears. Staying hard. Im starting to feel a lil something in front of left shoulder (always is a thing when i get heavy lifting) gonna do some serious icing/after care. Got a new massage therapist and really putting the work into recovery.

Need better active rest days. Stay at it. Gonna absolutely destroy until like july11th or so. Life is weird my girl left me few months back and all I have now is these weights. Im not fuckin around. Lets goooooo!

For the record my normal weight is like 165-170 mostly. Im at 180 right now.

What is it about leg day (squats) that makes me wanna puke!?

they're just tough. I did squats, deadlifts, leg extensions / leg curls yesterday and I'm still wobbly today.

If you do bodyweight squats every day, plus some horse stance and some asian squats, your squats will improve due to the added hip mobility and strength.

Recent video on horse stance

The idea in his video can be applied to dozens of other isometrics. Planks, reverse planks, hollow bodies, horse stance, one-legged stands, etc. Performing isometrics a few minutes every day helps a lot with powerlifters and bodybuilders who do compound lifts

that's how the poop gets out.

I once said sherbet out loud, and someone very confidentially corrected me that it's sherbert and I didn't even have the energy to tell him to google it.

I endured a real lifelong shitpost on this very subject with my Great Aunt, RIP, when she was alive and I was a precocious, yet well read for my age, child with the same smarmy attitude I have cultivated to this day.

She loved me so very much, until she would go into her ice box and pull out Lime or Orange Sherbet. She would ask if I wanted some Sherbert, I would say, absolutely NOT! I would prefer Sherbet, to which she would correct me and I would point out what it said on the box of Sherbet. She told me that in her house it was Sherbert and if I wanted any to knock it off on correcting her.

I never did and she never gave me any if the conversation ever came up. She made good popcorn balls at Christmas time, I do miss her.
