Thread: Games Done Quick is banning Hogwarts Legacy and other Harry Potter game speedruns
lol yuppp

I liked the original premise of reddit. I didn't get into it Early or anything, I just liked the promise it showed during those first few years. Seemed like a cool place for all sorts of nerd stuff to congregate, a meta-forum instead of Facebook social media.

But reddit got pozz'd just like the rest and became a propaganda sludgepipe.

I browse it off and on for retarded opinions but its not somewhere I'd post. The userbase aside its bad even without them. Its rules are crappy and its interface is certainly lacking and janky at times compared to real forums. With those rules you get subs like the r/politics section where everyone classifies themself as some obscure form of a liberal and don't you dare say something out of line or else you'll get downvoted. And then even worse you can find boards like r/chonkers that haven't been taken down for years. Really its one of the worst sites on the internet.

Here's one of the early well-known speedrunners who went to these events to speedrun Zelda Ocarina of Time.

Before and after mind virus.

What an evil thing to think there might be some mental instability that goes along with deciding you're a woman out of nowhere.
