What the hell did they do to the visuals of that game. FFXV maxed out on PC looks better tbh and it's an old game. Even the character models don't look worse.

Pretty shocking how bad the lighting is. Industry wide Lumen / RT usage can't soon enough.
Especially considering FFXV wasn't even that amazing visually, imo. To look worse than an 'okay' older game using an improved version of the same engine is quite the accomplishment.

The PC version of FFXV was one of the best looking game at the time though. It looked really good. Here are some of my screenshots from back then. Kinda shocking how well it compares to Forspoken.

Read somewhere that the president of Square Enix expects this game to be a cornerstone franchise much like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.

*sniggers* Are you kidding me? They should have started with a AA game rather than giving this one a full AAA treatment. Especially with all the middling reviews it's been getting. Shit, Octopath Traveller 2 looks better than this and that's a 2D/3D hybrid with fucking sprites.

I have no idea but that first paragraph is already great.

Forspoken is a disappointing outing from a developer that touts 'key members' of the Final Fantasy XV team, one which feels at best uninterested in its Black protagonist, and at worst resentful of her.

Games can actually be racist, independent of who created them.

"Shit, we made a black chick the main character, it's not our fault the game called her the N word!"

Spectacularly retarded and example number 34982137489236592 why it's NEVER ENOUGH.
