It's cooler to jack people's threads and turn them into something else .When we get there I won't have to look at this thread. Are we there yet?
Tomorrow at @teezzy house he spliced the VHS together.Event Horizon and Back to the Future crossover when?
Warp wasn't so hellish back then though, it was mostly peaceful. There weren't any Chaos gods yet at that time either.I prefer the Brittish title, Warhammer 2,000: Mankind's first voyage into the Warp.
Actually Tzeentch, Khorne and Nurgle all popped into existence in the middle ages, so the warp just didn't have the he/she god/dess of rape yet, hence the need for geller fields even during the Dark Age of Technology.Warp wasn't so hellish back then though, it was mostly peaceful. But that's the thing, right? You got War in Heaven and other massive conflicts yet the chaos gods appeared because of some Middle Eastern squabbles during the middle ages here on Earth. A classic example how the lore is just nonsensical and the constant attempts to fix it with "oh yeah, well time travel and shit" ugh, might as well have deleted the Emperor before he was born in that case.Actually Tzeentch, Khorne and Nurgle all popped into existence in the middle ages, so the warp just didn't have the he/she god/dess of rape yet, hence the need for geller fields even during the Dark Age of Technology.
Even then, due to time not truly existing in the warp, the gods can influence events there even before they were created, hence weirdness like Belakor, the first Daemon Prince, who is part of all 4 gods, having ascended to Daemonhood before any of those gods that chose to empower him technically existed.
Plus the Warp truly became tainted during the War in Heaven, which ended 65 million years ago, when trillions were dying by the second and the fabric of reality was being Swiss cheesed, which was probably when the Eldar gods were made to fight the C'tan.
And for anyone who doesn't know anything about 40K, I can only apologise for that impenetrable wall of nonsense I just wrote.

Think of it like the Pacific/Atlantic ocean during the Age of Discovery. It is hell of a dangerous proposition to go across it but with proper navigation, supplies and a good crew on a good ship you should have very little trouble unless you hit a (warp) storm.Mostly Peaceful Warp.
