Hello all, the next season of the D-Pad Hunger Games is coming soon!
For those who haven't played in this competition before, it is based off of the Hunger Games franchise where contestants fight each other until only one is left standing. There is a simulator built around the Hunger Games franchise which is used to simulate the free for all between teams of contestants, with random events and sometimes even friendly fire.
Dates:
Final day for suggesting guest characters on guest thread: 2ND AUGUST
Final day for choosing guest character co-op partner: 6TH AUGUST
Competition begins: 8TH AUGUST
This season, the theme is 80s vs 90s TV.
In this thread -HERE- anyone can suggest guest characters to include within the competition, as well as react to other people's picks. The 16 most reacted to guest picks, 8 for 80's TV and 8 for 90's TV, will be available as co-op partners for up to 16 D-Pad members who wish to join the competition. D-Pad members will be able to choose 1 guest co-op partner each after the guest characters are chosen, first come, first served. (from 3rd-6th August)
Anyone can join and all they need to do to join this competition is post in this thread before the 3rd of August saying they would like to join, while slots remain. There are 16 slots for D-Pad members (as shown below) and the remaining slots will be displayed below and updated as quickly as possible:
Current:
80s | 90s |
regawdless | Grand Theft Scratchy |
Heinz | brap |
quickwhips | Hostile_18 |
DESTROYA | Stilton Disco |
BF Noise | Taysan |
Fushitsusha | Nikita |
Nada | Dr. Farnsgoth |
KiNeMs | O-N-E |
AJUMP23 | Melon |

To make the competition more interesting, there will also be prizes for the top finishers in the simulated competition. Below will be the prize pool for this round of the D-Pad Hunger Games:

The prizes will be given out after the competition finishes and will be given out through paypal, steam gift cards or D-Pad+ ($5 for a month). Prize winners will be messaged through D-Pad after the conclusion of the competition to specify their preferred prize collection method.
So which side will you be supporting? 80's TV with their high tech and sophisticated styles or 90's TV with its fluorescent colours and cool attitude?
