I bought Witcher 3 awhile back when it was $10 for the Game of the Year edition.

It was a blind buy since I knew nothing about it.

Few days ago I start watching LPs of it on YouTube and wow, is it an incredible looking game. And looks fun to play. The character models and body movements are excellent. The game is colorful and the theme music is great.

Honestly, going only by what I've seen, it seems like it gives Elder Scrolls a run for its money.

Probably my only complaint is some of the lore. It's on.... Continent and a lot of things are too vague. There's a bit of "generic-ism" to it but otherwise the game looks fantastic.

Also.... No crappy woke or progressive politics bs. Sexy women and the crime of having little-to-no PoC. How did this or even a game like the Metro series get made in Current Year?

(my guess is both series were made by Slavs and Russians and Slavs DGAF)

Edit: GOG has Witcher 3 GOTY Edition for $10 again and all other Witcher games at discount during Witchercon.

Basically, Day 1 was a bit of a celebration, but they did drop some tidbits. Season 2 of The Witcher lands on the 17th of December. New Trailer here: -

However, there' an animated movie The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf which is kicking off on the 23rd of August, and focusses on Geralt's witcher mentor, Vesemir.

Also, they announced the Final version of TW3 for Xbox S/X and Playstation 5 is coming later in the year will come with some free show inspired DLCs. All the updates will be free for existing owners and on PC as well

Also on top of the crazy Japanese themed Ciri and Geralt Statues CDP are now working on a ninja-style one for Yennifer apparently, though no deets on release yet

Witcher 3 Complete Edition.... this year. Just don't be more precise you cunts.

Not that I'll play it - played the shit out of W3, exploring everything. No chance I'll touch it again, no matter how good it looks. Just curious about the tech and the improvements.

Not sure if it's worth watching this. Vesermir never struck me as some sort of Han Soloish rogue witcher.

Well we only know him as an older Witcher and after the events at Kaer Morden. I'm not expecting much if I'm honest, but I dare say it will be entertaining.
