Yeah he seems like a grifter. He created the UFO thread and then comes out and says he doesn't really believe in it.

Romulus in the same thread was busting out all sorts of good stuff and videos that I at first thought he was the OP.

I changed my mind (which I am allowed to do) about aliens and UFOs after a year of the thread being polluted with "all sorts of good stuff and videos" like... fast moving flying insects, sunlit plastic bags, airplanes recorded in infrared light, and CGI.

I don't believe we're being visited by extraterrestrial life but there might be other intelligent life in the universe, or not (see the Fermi Paradox).

I think he really, really wants to be a mod on Gaf. And will do and say anything to get there.

The problem though. that Yes Men never realize, is how useless Yes Men are. If I'm bringing on a mod, I don't want a Mini Me that agrees with 100% of what I say. I want a varied perspective that will push back on me if need be. I don't think he'll ever make it there, and he'll just be begging for El pussy crumbs forever.

I'm not interested in being a mod. I was a mod on PSU for a while but I stepped down because I didn't feel like doing it anymore. I joined GAF to talk about games and I liked it because it was a lot more active than PSU. So I was disappointed to see all of the account closures. It looked to me like you guys chose not to stick around and continue talking about games, but of course that's your decision, and I apologize for my arrogance.

If you changed your mind over a few bad videos in a thread, it sounds like you haven't done enough research outside GAF but fair enough.

As for leaving GAF, many of us saw what was going down there and I can only speak for myself that I no longer wish to support the site. Plenty of people here still do post there I've noticed.
