Which Nintendo franchise would you like to see a new game for in 2023, arriving on the Nintendo Switch?

Voted "other", for Kid Icarus. Always though that the Uprising formula should be tried and expanded on, on a system that is more comfortable to use than the 3DS with the stand/addon.

The DS games had some nice gimmicks, would be interesting to see a switch game utilize the joy con setup for controlling both brothers during fights.

Basically just something that's not a low effort sports title, JRPG, or yet another Splatoon/Smash/Animal Crossing game.

I'm sad to say that I'm just not really excited for anything they're doing even with the franchises in question. If I say I want something new for Donkey Kong, I'll hear that they're doing something 3D with DK but it doesn't involve any of the DKC stuff, so we're going back to vanilla Donkey Kong. I could say I want a new Paper Mario, but we already got one of those and it just comes no where near scratching that itch.

I'm at a total loss for what I really want from them. I'd like a new 2D Mario and a new 3D Mario, I want a new Mario Kart, I'd like a new DKC type of game (even if it's an evolved DKC 64), give me some more Metroid Prime, and an actual top tier quality sequel to Yoshi's Island.

For now I will just stick with saying please give me a new Zelda BotW-type game in 2023 in the hopes that the stupid thing doesn't get delayed again.

A new Mario & Luigi RPG would be exciting if they handle it right. I'm not a fan of the quasi-RPG stuff they did with Paper Mario Sticker Star and Color Splash and that seemed to be creeping into M&L. Gimme a complex four-button battle system like in M&L Partners in Time

Xenoblade Chronicles X Definitive Edition with Torna/Future Connected/Unknown upcoming 3 Torna sized expansion.

Golden Sun 1/2 remakes, 4 by Monolith Soft.
