Does anyone have any guesses?

First five launch games?

I will predict:

1) Super Mario Odyssey 2
2) The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
3) Excite Truck
4) 1080° Snowboarding
5) Super Monkey Ball: Banana Heroes

Pokémon Legends Z/A
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake
Xenoblade Saga
Fire Emblem: Three Houses 2
Metroid Prime 4

I have my doubts about Nintendo having five first party launch titles. But here is likely the first five that will come in year 1.

3D Mario (probably Odyssey 2)
BOTW/ToTK Bundle with enhancements
Mario Kart
Some Party game collection
Animal Crossing

New Zelda / Zelda remake
New Mario / Mario remake
Mario Kart remake
Pokemon remake
Something by Ubisoft, because Ubisoft always are first out the gate with a 3rd party release to mop up sales when the library is the smallest

Absolutely won't be in the list:
Anything to do with Metroid

BONUS FEATURE: A single game by EA to demonstrate the "very special" relationship that Nintendo has with 3rd party publishers. Probably a Dead Space remake to show how edgy and mature Nintendo are.

Pokémon Legends Z/A
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake
Xenoblade Saga
Fire Emblem: Three Houses 2
Metroid Prime 4

I think they'll release Metroid Prime 2 remastered and Metroid Dread 2 before Metroid Prime 4 to be honest. MP4 is not in a good place.

I love my Switch but I don't feel like I'm done with it at all. After BotW/TotK I'm done with that style or at least I feel fulfilled with it that I could live without more iterations. Odyssey was a step back for me and if Metroid is FPS I have no interest.

The only thing Nintendo could really do to get me would be a Windwaker remake because I never played it or some kind of Monster Hunter exclusive.

I have so many great RPG's/titles on Switch I just feel like I have no need to get something else.

I'd like to play some games I refuse to play on Switch due to framerate like Astral Chain and Bayonetta. Hope they'll be patched to run at 60.

Pokémon Legends Z/A
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake
Xenoblade Saga
Fire Emblem: Three Houses 2
Metroid Prime 4

Its been leaked for some time Nintendo and Intelligent Systems is sitting on a remake of Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War that was finished before Engage, but they chose Engage because it fit the anniversary idea more.

My guess for switch 2:

Next mainline pokemon (not ZA)
Breath of the Wild Remaster
Metroid Prime 4
FE GHW remake
Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster

2025 is the 40th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. so we'll get a new 3D Mario and Mario Kart X, but maybe not until September-October.

I'm expecting dozens of games from 3rd parties to be ready to go later this year for the launch before Nintendo decided to get cold feet.
It does seem like they have a bunch of games that are kind of on hold possibly. Can't say for sure, but that's just what it feels like. Apparently Fire Emblem Engage was ready to go for a long while before they decided to announce it

Which given past droughts is a very wise move.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a load of cross gen titles for the first year or two, that they can play up the seamless transition to current gen with, showcasing full backwards compatibility and baked in enhancements on Switch 2 for all games purchased on Switch, kind of like the Black Cartridge Gameboy/GBC games.

I think we'll at most get a half dozen current gen only titles in the first year, probably a 3D Mario, MK 9 and a new Splatoon, plus some new IP's to show of the hardware gimmicks and tempt the hardcore fans over.

A new starfox
A new f-zero
A new donkey Kong
New Mario kart will be bundled with every super switch
A new Wario Land.
