Thread: What was the latest game you sunk 100+ hrs into?

Bridge Burn Man

Online or offline/single-player, it doesn't matter.

For me, it was Sekiro. I started playing it in early 2020 and have continued playing through, despite a save-wipe of my NG++. The combat isn't very gear-dependent, so it feels more laid back and accessible compared to other Soulsborne games. In fairness, I sunk 100+ hours into Dark Souls 3 and into Bloodborne.

Fire Emblem Fates, if you count all three paths as a single game. Maybe also Crash Trilogy, but I am unsure because Switch does not display play time as Wii U and 3DS did anymore. Before that probably Sonic Unleashed (360).

Cyberpunk 2077! I think my playthrough clocked in at around 110 hours.

Before that, though... probably Breath of the Wild or Dark Souls III unless I'm forgetting something.

Technically Breath of the Wild, I beat it when it first came out then again a couple years later on hard mode. Before that, I have no clue. I can't sink 100s of hours into games anymore due to time constraints and I'd rather play new things.

I guess when I was a broke ass kid I just had to play whatever game my parents got me or what I bought on my own so I'd sink 100s of hours into it by default.

Apex Legends, Rocket League and The Witcher 3 are the most recent games I've played to that extent. Or, well, well beyond that extent.

Warframe is not my proudest time sink with more than 1500 hours into it. But clocking above 120 hours on Ace Combat 7 (which I'm stil playing too) is the achievment I'm most proud of.

Removed an entry that was 'Kill The Fa—ot' in a somewhat ironic manner.

Understand edgy humor and love it as well, but that's a little much for here, as we discussed prior to launch. Jokes like that are best kept for friends and Discord buddies.

So the games that have had that many hours.. probably iRacing though it doesn't track it. Other than that, BOTW and Kingdom Come Deliverance. All three games beautiful in their own right.

Maybe Quake live or ut back in the day. I think I have more then 100 hours in Battlefield 5. I rarely sink that much time into a single game. I'm mostly into singleplayer and the types of games I play rarely are over 100 hours.

I'm actually coming up on 90 hours with Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

I imagine once the DLC expansions come out, and if they are any good, I'll easily break past 100.

I have 300 hours in cyberpunk and I wasn't done playing but I figured I would wait until everything's patched up nice

Put me in the silly amount of hours into Cyberpunk club as well and also not done. No regrets, but likewise I'm holding back for a bit now. I didn't find that bugs made it unplayable, but they did drag at immersion and that was really nagging at me because in every other respect I was having a great time with it. Haven't had a chance to check it out since the 1.2 patch, but very much looking forward to it when time avails.

Fire Emblem Three Houses for me. I think it was around 300 hours, lots of interactions between the characters in support conversations and interesting class progression. Although a couple of the routes overlapped a bit, it was at least 3 different stories in one game.

Nothing recent, but I'm at 90 on Cyberpunk. Though I'm done with it until significant DLC most likely.

Before that probably PUBG in the 2018-2019 timeframe.

(I don't know if I should count OOTP21. I have probably 15 hours into OOTP22 already.)

OOTP must stand for Octopus Oils The Pantry

Minecraft.

Building a big ass city and restoring old villages. Not proud nor ashamed.
Oh Christ I forgot Minecraft.. back in the early 10s I could spend hours on it, up til the early hours of the morning. Brilliant game, though I think maybe they've added too much stuff to it in later releases.

I think I end up putting in 100+ hours for every RPG I play. The last 3 I've played are FF X HD Remaster, FF XIII Lightning Returns, and Octopath Traveler. Had a blast with them all, I love deep diving into battle systems.

I very rarely get anywhere close to 100 hours in a game, but I've managed quite a few this gen.

Stardew Valley and Civ VI have both hit 100 hours over PC and Switch combined.
Fortnite (ugh) is in the same ballpark.
Smash Bros Ultimate is over 175.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is somewhere over 180 hours.
Animal Crossing is 190+.
Splatoon 2 is 200+.
Breath of the Wild is 210+.

Rocket League was at 1300 over PC and Switch until I binned it off in September... but my buddy in the U.K. wants to co-op this weekend so I just downloaded it again for Xbox Series S

Some really solid games that I put more time into than I expected I would:
Enter the Gungeon - 60 hours.
F1 2020 - 78 hours.
Mario Odyssey is 75 hours, never put that much time into a 3D Mario. Beat the entire 3D collection in around 50.
Put 55 hours into the SNES app on the Switch, had a blast playing these old games and have beaten all the favourites.

Shit, forgot about the insane hours I put into Odyssey, such an absolute joy of a game. That, Galaxy and 3D World have been just ridiculous fun.

I'm at least 2000+ hours into Master Chief Collection.

My newest playthrough of Fallout New Vegas I'm about 65 hours in and all I've done is misc side quests and the DLC. I'm not even on the NV Strip yet.
(Total probably have 1000+ hours in NV)
