Went with my wife to visit friends and family in her hometown. Her buddy doesn't smoke anymore so he gave me the rest of his unused harvest.

This is the most weed I've ever seen, let alone owned. lol. For the sake of comparison, that black canister can hold maybe 6 grams. 6 grams will last me roughly two months.

This shit is gonna last like 2 years, lol.

I got my medical card and bought just 8.5 grams and have barely scratched the surface on it in the last couple weeks. So I know what you mean when you say the 6g container could last you 2 months.

Yea, I don't really get ripped anymore. I've been smoking from a oneie the past few years and it's mostly just a weekend videogame session type of thing or when I'm out camping and chilling by the fire.

It's legal where I'm at so it's never an issue to get a few grams but I'll gladly take a shit ton of free homegrown, lol. There's actually two weed stores a block away from me, so funny. I always figured it'd be legalized at some point but I never expected to have legal weed stores literally outside my front door.

I haven't really gotten into edibles, but if I had that much free weed that I didn't think I'd even get through, I'd probably make a batch of weed butter and use it for some cookies or brownies or something.

Then again, I radiate squareness so I doubt anyone will even think of offering me marijuana.

I would:

Decarboxylate it in the oven - low heat, don't burn it.
Slow cook it in unsalted butter (or MCT oil) for 8-12 hours, stirring every 15 minutes, being careful not to boil it.
Strain with cheese cloth and potato ricer.
Leave in fridge until the butter is reformed.
Cut the butter multiple times to remove milk products, this will remove plant taste and smell.
In it's liquid state (cooled) pipette it into empty gelatin capsules.
Store caps in fridge.
Take your medicine - I recommend 2 capsules approximately 45 minutes before eating.
