Thread: What are you getting your dad for Father's Day?
Father's Day is the day after tomorrow and I've been so busy I completely forgot to get him something. Thought about college football opener tickets, but those are about $500-$700 each and my wife would kill me.

Sent a humorous card for the day, but flying to visit next weekend and will take him out to a nice dinner.

Took him out for lunch and got him a $50 lowes gift card so he can buy rocks/bricks for his flagpole he's installing

A bottle of whiskey. Somehow we managed to buy him the exact bottle he requested our local liquor store to order for him. He couldn't believe it and he's already cracked it open.

My dad does this idiot shit with his golf balls where he puts 5 dots on them so he knows they're his.....so I got him a personal ball marker that'll stamp his initials on the ball.

My sister and I are visiting and we're going to surprise him by bringing his grandchildren.

Damn, you guys haven't told him about the grandkids yet? I agree that it'll be a surprise but I think you should have told him already.

And that's not even getting into the fact that you and your sister had kids!

If you didn't give your father flowers when he was alive, why do it when he's passed?

I guess I never thought about it that way? I suppose because it's customary. The cemetery probably wouldn't appreciate me dropping off a box of cannolis at my father's headstone. Animals and all.
