I have a bunch of PSX consoles but only PSIO in two of them.
(Them lasers will not continue working forever...)

But I did buy a copy of CoolBoarders4 so I can test this exploit out. I got it yesterday but haven't had time to test it out yet.

Speaking of MVG, once the forum is fully up and we have a lot of members and content we should ask him to join. We can set up a retro-corner where we just talk about cool retro stuff.

Update: Yeah, it is gonna take me a little longer to test out this softmod. Boomer me did not realize you need a blank CD-R disk and since it is not 1997 anymore, these are not readily available in your local store any more.

You're also need to record them in a certain way. My dvd-rom can't burn cds at a speed lower than 24x which I think causes issues for me.
 
I put the shit on a memory card and booted up coolboarders4 on a psx and the exploit just works out of the box.
I haven't had a chance to try a backup yet since I don't have any CD-R disks.
But I did pop in a jap game **Go!2 from TAITO and it loaded just fine with tonyhax on a normal unmodded australian ps1.


Wooooohoooo It works. Now on to celebrate this by driving subway trains in japan, with jap text.
