Looks great, along with Fantasian: NEO Dimension two RPGs I'm looking forward to, in some ways even more then Dragon Quest III-HD-2D. Maybe dare I say even potential sleeper hits...Damn this year has been the best for JRPGs in a long, long time and its still not over by a longshot. Hell, you might need to go back to the PS2 era for the years where you had this kind of output!

More and more, I also think Visions of Mana and Sand Land might be hints of what to expect from Dragon Quest XII, though that's just speculation on my part...

To an extent, but Mana seem to take place in the same world and cosmology.
