The Prodigy change lyrics to Smack My B***h Up - 26 years after track was released

In 2010, Smack My B***h Up was voted the most controversial song of all time in a poll by the Performing Right Society - following claims it glamourised domestic violence.

The Prodigy have changed the lyrics to Smack My B***h Up - 26 years after the controversial song was released.

Despite being one of the band's most celebrated hits, the words have led to claims it glamourised domestic violence.

Outlawed on a number of TV and radio stations, the band have, until now, refused to tone down the content, insisting the lyrics actually mean "doing anything intensely".

However, according to The Sun, in two recent gigs, Maxim, lead singer since the death of Keith Flint in 2019, skipped the line and instead repeated "change my pitch up".

The dance group did not let their fans know about the switch before the shows at Alexandra Palace.

In 2010 the track was voted the most controversial song of all time in a poll conducted by the Performing Right Society (PRS).

God Save The Queen by the Sex Pistols was second and Frankie Goes To Hollywood's Relax came third.

Wait why is Relax controversial? I gotta read the lyrics of that song.
All though i do see why the prime minister of Malaysia would hate that song. Thank god for Blue Steele. Its the same look. He has one look. Blue steele ferrarie la tigra there the same thing

Watch the video too. It's a song about anal sex and the video features a golden shower in a gay club.

The sample was dropped from the UK shows but it's intact here, two days ago. Also it looks like they're abandoning the "go down" gimmick.

Changing it after Keith Flint died, when they had refused to change it before feels especially shitty.

And as if anything will be achieved with it at all. Highly doubt the song caused a significant increase in bitches being smacked up, even when it was most popular.
