Total sales for the Trails series of The Legend of Heroes games have surpassed seven million units worldwide, developer Falcom announced.

The series was last reported to have sold five million units as of September 29, 2020.

The latest entry, The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II -CRIMSON SiN-, is due out for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on September 29 in Japan and October 27 in Asia.

I wonder what the breakdown is of sales in Japan vs. the rest of the world?

One of the biggest negatives of this series for me is the incredibly slow localization. I think we're 3-4 games behind in the US at this point, not counting Zero/Azure which are older games, that are just getting localized.
