Were about a decade away from not needing actual singers while bringing back every dead artists to drop new albums.
Been saying for a while the mysic industry is in for a reckoning and AI is going to completly change the game.
Most pop acts are just overproduced plants anyways. Why not cut out the need of humans and just use AI. Labels keep all the money and no need for pretentious divas and douches.

Ya might move that timeline up. And if joe schmoes are doing this imagine what some huge multi million dollar record label can do.
Especially one with masters. They can go into their catalogue of musicians and feed the AI the best and deepest cuts and then pay the smartest tech and engineers to make it flawless.

I've been writing the lyrics. They aren't massively better than the AI gibberish lyrics, but not too bad for songs written in 3 minutes.
With the J-Pop song, the AI inserted the Japanese singing by itself.

I've used udio before, I think it's currently even better than suno. Both are cool.
I prefer udio because the sound seems a bit cleaner, but a friend of mine loves suno and has done some good things with it.
