Thread: TGS 2022 official live stream program schedule announced

Ensuring Transparency

The Computer Entertainment Supplier's Association has announced the official streaming program schedule for Tokyo Game Show 2022, which will run from September 15 to 18 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

During the four-day event, 38 programs will be streamed online, 29 of which are "Official Exhibitor Programs" sponsored by 26 exhibitors. You will be able to watch them on various platforms in cooperation with overseas platforms and online media, including IGN (United States), DouYu, bilibili, Douyin, and Huya (China), and more. Programs can also be accessed through the "TGS Special Page" on Steam.

Most programs will be streamed in Japanese, however English speakers will be able to watch each stream with a simultaneous English interpretation. Some programs will also offer a simultaneous Chinese interpretation.

I know they've only announced it recently with nothing but a logo, but I hope Capcom shows us something on Dragon's Dogma 2.

And speaking of action rpgs, the lack of CyGames in the schedule has me worried. I want to see something new regarding Project Awakening and Granblue Fantasy Relink.

Xbox has confirmed that it will be returning to Tokyo Game Show this year with another streamed presentation.

The show will take place on September 15 at 6pm JST / 2am PDT / 5am EDT / 10am BST, and according to Xbox will be "a show curated for our players in Japan and Asia".

"We invite fans to tune in to the Tokyo Game Show 2022 Xbox Stream where you can expect to see updates on existing titles from Xbox Game Studios and titles launching from developer partners that we hope will delight players here in Japan, across Asia and around the world," the company said.

Xbox will be streaming the presentation on its YouTube channels in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, while the official Tokyo Game Show channel will also be broadcasting it.

Although the presentation is likely to mainly focus on announcements suited for the Asian market, Xbox's previous two Tokyo Game Show presentations still featured announcements that also applied to the west.

Konami has opened its Tokyo Game Show 2022 website and announced its games lineup and live stream schedule, including an unannounced title from Konami and several new titles from partner companies.

The unannounced title from Konami, which will be presented in a stage event on September 16, is said to be an entry in a world-loved series.

The new partner titles include PlayStation 4 and Switch ports of Osman from ININ Games and Trouble Witches Final! Episode 01: Daughters of Amalgam from Rocket-Engine, and more.

Fingers crossed for Dragon Quest X west release.
Have a feeling theres a small chance Adventure of Dai might be turned into Dragon Quest XIII, the story is certainly epic and good enough to do so.

Just plain ol' vaporware huh? A shame if that's the case. The game looked interesting.

Especially since Xbox has always been a sales failure in Japan. Maybe with GamePass and PC gaming support things will be different.
