TIL Don Mattrick worked on Test Drive. My brother used to play that game (racing sims aren't really my thing).

Still doesn't make him any less of a turd for how he handled the Xbone release.

Must suck balls to realize that despite his long years in the industry, the Xbone always online disaster will be his lasting legacy.
Yeah, Phil Spencer had us all fooled with his "Hello Fellow Gamers" wearing Indie studio t-shirts. While better than Mattrick, he is going back to the old ways of push the platform and not the software which forced Kinnect on us.

Right. I mean, I'm not a fan of what Sony has done in recent years either, but at least they have some fucking games that I can play and more on the horizon.

For all of Microsoft's vaunted acquisitions, we've yet see any game releases that can attract gamers.

Dude is way more legit than Phil Spencer, I wouldn't be surprised if Phil Spencer was the one pushing for the DRM stuff behind the scenes given that most of it ended up being pushed on people one way or the other anyway on Xbox.

Was an actual developer and actually managed to release games. Not to mention that Phil has no ground to stand on when it comes to DRM, first because he was there working with Matrick and second because online check in became a thing under him anyway. Also, that garbage Xbox app on windows is one of the most intrusive DRMs I've ever seen.
