It's so fucking crazy how pivotal this scene is and I had to rewatch the end a few times to actually pick up on exactly what happened. I didn't recognize that it was Tom who blew the whistle on his wife/bros and ultimately fucked them out of everything.

I truly think House of the Dragon took the jerkoff at the window scene directly from Succession. The way Westeros royalty parallels with elite rich of today it far too on the nose than people want to acknowledge.

Will watch this later, thanks for sharing. But yeh with Greg being the everyman of the show I figure the story is ultimately going to be about his rise in power and moral fall.

Creator and executive producer Jesse Armstrong revealed the news on Thursday in an interview with the New Yorker. "It's been a bit tortured, and I felt unexpectedly nervous about talking to you, because it's all theoretical until this point, and I have tried to keep it theoretical for a whole number of reasons," he said. "Who knows about the psychological reasons, but the creative ones were that it felt really useful to not make the final, final decision for ages. You know, there's a promise in the title of 'Succession.' I've never thought this could go on forever."

Bittersweet to hear it's ending but also that was always the end goal. I don't think it could actually happen without Logan Roy's character passing away.

The writer doesn't seem massively sure about ending it, hope he's made the right decision. Season 3 had a few wobbles early on, not on a par with the first two, hope he takes it home with aplomb.
