Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Respawn Entertainment will release PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order this summer with "a number of technical improvements," the companies announced. Users who already own the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will receive a free upgrade.

Hopefully the upgrades mean better loading times. The game was hamstrung somewhat by how obnoxiously long the loading times were. That and the texture pop up.
 
Damn between this and FF7 every time I start one of these games in my backlog the developer announces a next gen version.

This is crazy awesome especially since they already pumped it up to 60fps and a better resolution on the new consoles. Now we're getting even more updates?! 😎

Will definitely play through again. Solid fucking game.
 
Was getting ready to give this a go on Game Pass. Probably better to wait until the Summer now. Still, good to see support for next-gen being added!
 
I'll have to return to it. I was kinda turned off because the graphics/motion blur made the game look like I was watching it through a screen door :/
 
Good to see they are gonna give the game some more love. But I have to wonder why? Maybe sequel is closer than we think?

I wish I had a PC copy. My sister got me an Xbox copy for Christmas the year it came out. I was playing on a One X and it didn't look good. Hopefully the Series X version fixes that stuff up.

Yep, this is how I played and I had a fantastic time. Even on my old 1080. A great game all around really and one of the most memorable experiences I've had in a while, which is rare. Hope to hear news on the sequel soon.

This game is tight

If they patch out all the crazy clipping and bugs, they'd have a real winner on their hands here

Perfect for a wuss like me who cant be bother to 'git gud' at Souls games and really appreciates the 'everything but the kitchen sink' approach Respawn took here
