Never knew she composed the OST for Live A Live but now that I know this it's even more interesting of a game IMO. I'll have to play this pup as well. There are so many great games to play across all the platforms before this Nintendo Direct and now they throw like five or six different S-tier JRPGs at us

Seems cool. I'm down for these HD-2D RPGs whether a new IP or a remake of an existing game from Squeenix's vast back-catalogue. Imagine the first 6 Dragon Quest games remade this way. Or Bahamut Lagoon. Or Treasure Hunter G. Or Terranigma. And Soul Blazer and Illusion of Gaia too. There's a ton of stuff that would fit nicely with the engine, and it's a far better visual style than Squeenix's made-for-mobile HD "remakes"

It never made it west, but there are translated ROMs of the original SNES game available.

It's by one of the guys behind FF IV, Chrono Trigger, and Parasite Eve so I'm looking forward to it.

Yea i played it a long time ago on pc with an emulator. I was a nutbag for snes jrpgs that got English translations.
