I actually enjoyed the first one for what it was, but the 2nd one lost my interest. They're supposed to be kids movies, so that's ok. It's not really meant for me. But damn did it start getting stupid.

And the casting director who chose the main cop guy's wife should never be allowed to cast another movie again.

I loved the level of respect they had with the source material. They made some changes, but overall it's really well done and it respects the source. A rare thing in movies about games. Going to watch 3 for sure.
