Just had a loud thud in the kitchen....but both my cats were up with me in the loft. Went down with my gun and I'm honestly baffled. No idea what made the sound. Nothing dropped. My cats were scared to shit staring at me from the staircase between the railing, looking for whatever it was. Then they slowly came down and started looking around themselves, dead silent eyes wide open and kept looking back at me like wtf. It sounded like someone picked up my garbage can 3 inches off the ground and just dropped it. That's how loud it was. And yet, nothing there on the ground anywhere.

And this isn't the first time this has happened....

Few months back I'm sitting on the couch.....both my cats in my lap. Behind me in the kitchen area, about 10 feet, same area where I just heard the thud.....it sounded like someone dropped a marble on the wooden floor. Cats again were freaked. I got up to look around....absolutely nothing on the floor.

Well, turns out that a couple of months ago we discovered that something with our air in-take handler had come apart and fallen into the crawl space. That certainly could have made a crashing sound.

Always check your crawl space and attic during the daytime. It could have been a ghost or aliens but it's probably something needing maintenance.

So....I was in my loft office area on the puter. It has an open overlook down to the living room and kitchen that isn't far away. The attic is above the loft. Below the kitchen is my mancave level. This sound VERY distinctly came from the kitchen area wood floor. A better way to describe the sound would be like someone dropped a softball on the wood floor. It thudded twice like it bounced. I searched for like 15 min looking for anything, even dropping things trying to recreate the sound. Nothing is on the floor but cat toys that are all soft. None of them would recreate this sound.

Honestly, the couch one was more unsettling when that happened to where I honestly felt an immense feeling of evil and something there that wanted to harm me. Not to turn this into a Christian/demon thread, but I must admit I said out loud, "In the name of Jesus, leave my house and never return." And that feeling was instantly gone. I hadn't felt the immediate need to ever call out loud to the Lord like that since my last bout of sleep paralysis years back, where I felt that same immense feeling of evil in the room. It's a fear I cannot compare to anything else I've ever experienced in my life, even though I know I'm the only one in the room and "nothing" is there.

I would say there is even a small possibility that an exotic global drone network could very well be in operation even inside our homes. Such a network would certainly be of non-human origin, and I wouldn't say that they aren't demonic. They certainly could be. We don't know what we don't know. Check the crawl space right above his bed... see if there is a burned photo of him as a child or a pentagram somewhere. Might also want to check the crawlspace under the house directly below his bed... to see if there are any sculptures made of dead animals.

I don't accept his claims outright, but it falls much closer to being something believable provided it is actually repeatable and something that academic research ought to be able to reproduce and study.

It happened directly above my head with another person present, and it was so loud she jumped back. It happened before I was into the woo stuff and actually led to me becoming more open minded.

This is 100% what it was.....I'd never heard of a water hammer before. I was running my washer, which is stupidly placed on the upper level. The water line goes down the wall and then runs underneath the kitchen floor, where it turns right into the furnace room in the basement. And right around that turn right area is where I heard the thud. Good call, mate.

So funny enough going back into the spiritual side of it.....after I posted about this, I spoke with my buddy in discord. Who is also aware of my sleep paralysis story and the whole something falling on the ground randomly behind me story, both of which gave me immense feelings of fear and terror I can't explain. But he asked me if I felt the same when this happened and I said I can't really explain it, but no it didn't. Like I was spooked enough to clear the fuckin house with a gun....but I didn't have any sense of evil or something wanting to harm me. Call it confirmation bias, but that just solidifies more to me what I felt in the other two situations was very real.
