It's cool so far but it definitely shows it budget.

Early in but it reminds me of Siren: Blood Curse: relatively linear levels with objectives updating. Simple stuff.

Combat is fun and quite frantic. You're constantly changing bodies, perry system is cool but the timing can be tricky. Thankfully it hasnt been required so far and the game hasnt thrown any great challenge on normal.

It feels like a Vita title, graphics and all. There isnt much voice acting either, mostly text and stylized imagery/character faces.

If you enjoy Siren and Gravity Rush, youll be familiar with this type of game. If you expect some AAA first party experience from an indie studio, youll probably think its trash, lol.

Music is good. Story is good too, its quite dark and deals with prostitution, corruption, mafia, etc. There has been a cutscene with knockin' boots and full on boobs.

Im really digging it. Lots of downtime too, more exploring/exposition than combat so far.

I enjoyed Siren and Gravity Rush and this looks pretty fun. But sadly I can't play in front of kids so it will be bottom of the backlog!

Here's what combat is like so far. I have 3 rarities, there are a total of 8. Rarities are the main characters and are much stronger than the random NPCs.

I don't want to say that the combat is sloppy, because it does feel like a lot of thought and tweaking went into it, but it can feel a bit rough due to having to wildly jerk the camera when jumping from body to body. L2 functions as block and is a pseudo-lock on in a sense. I've been trying to remember to hit L2 after jumping bodies to see if it helps with snapping the camera in a more ideal position. Jumping from body to body gives you an attack boost and helps with flanking enemies. It's not difficult so far but it is easy to get taken out, the standard NPCs are quite frail. I don't even bother with the parry in fights like this. Occasionally you'll fight solo against the enemies, that's when parry is more effective because the enemies range can mess you up if you don't dodge correctly, but even then, people will show up and then it's back to jumping from body to body.

There are also skill trees with some cool attacks.
