IGN interviews three members of the Silent Hill 2 Remake team including producer Motoi Okamoto, concept artist Masahiro Ito, and composer Akira Yamaoka who discuss what was important to preserve from the original Silent Hill 2, and what elements were updated for the remake coming to the PlayStation 5.
 
That was actually interesting, I wasn't aware the game was being designed under the supervision of/in conjunction with these guys from the original.

Having said that with current year being what it is, I'm reluctant to hope the game is good and not just woke demake. Nurses need to be busty, not reduced breast size or covered up or both. They need to show the same level of cleavage as the original. Pyramid Head's weird rape scene with the double legged monsters need to be intact, he better not just kill them.

Maria needs to look attactive, feminine and sexy. I don't mean she needs a double F rack, she was not "well endowed" shall we say in the original which is perfectly fine and in line with her character but she at least needs to look attractive and feminine in face shape and body shape while also dressing sexy.

I say these things not because I'm some perv who wants any excuse to stare at breasts or sexual content but rather because these things and their symbolic meanings tie heavily into the lore of the game and the atmosphere of the world. If they change these things for stupid woke virtue signaling reasons then they are damaging the artistic intentions and the spirit and tone of the original and I won't bother with it on principle alone.

Let's just say at the moment after this interview they have my attention but not yet my money. Approaching it from a very guarded position, hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Prove me wrong Konami/Blooper, prove me wrong.
