At this point.... Uh yeah sure. But who really cares. Old ass game that most who wanted to play already did.

They're going to charge like 50 fucking quid for this thing, aren't they.

To be fair is Red Dead Redemption one of the masterpiece all time great games that are actually worth it even at full price? Its also better then a vast majority of 60, 70 dollar titles.

Though Rockstar are being greedy as fuck also with the pricing. Nintendo would do the same for an Ocarina of Time Remake, and did do it with Metroid Prime Remastered.

Ditto Resident Evil IV Remake, Demon Souls Remake, Persona 3: RE, Live A Live HD-2D Remake, Star Ocean The Second Story R, Command and Conquer Remastered, Diablo II Resurrected, Tactics Orge Reborn, Trials of Mana ect.

Or even Dragon Quest XI S: Echo's of an Illusive Age and SMT V/Vengeance where you buy the original you get screwed since you still need to buy the new version because there's no upgrade path.

It's just very little work going into a product which is now 14 years old. I can square away remakes such as RE4 or Metroid Prime because at least some work has gone into either making wholesale changes or giving the game a new lick of paint and some modern conveniences.

Had this had an RDR2 style graphical overhaul then it could be justified, not that it matters, I don't particularly care for either Red Dead titles, I just hate seeing consumers pay through the nose for a 14 year old game with likely minimal changes.

Yeah agreed. Red Dead Redemption 1 with 2s graphics would be insane. Though 2 with a 60 FPS patch also.

And Bloodborne with a patch and a remaster/remake also. Why do companies do nothing with the megaton tier money makers?

The only saving grace for this thing is that it will be $10 in 6-9 months and had easily for <$5 in the years that follow.

Please let it be true. Playing this on Steam Deck is my ideal way of re-experiencing this.
