The game is coming to Switch, PS4 & PC. It's the usual Kunio-kun/River City Ransom belt scrolling hijinx, this time set in Romance of the Three Kingdoms. It looks a bit odd but should still be good fun.

Strange Artstyle on the anime aspects, with the squat characters, though I guess that reflects the nature of the pixel art in some fashion. I had to turn the sound off on the gameplay video as well. I assume the weirds screeching sound was the commentators rather than in-game though (I hope) 🤔

Also is there a Release Date? I can add it to the Gaming Calendar

This looks about 1000x better than the other Kunio Kun games (imo). Been messin around with River City Girls since that came out but ignored the others. I might actually get this, and I think the kids would totally dig it.

It sort of reminds me of the online flash games from back in the day. I'll probably wait for some reviews after it comes out though before buying.

Also welcome @Bullet Club , it is great to see you again. I missed your posts on GAF but after the mod decisions earlier in the year, GAF just didn't feel the same. While you weren't here, Matt left due to disdain for anime so its probably best he didn't see this thread.

Not a fan of those smooth/blurry filtered backgrounds with chunky pixel characters in the foreground. Also, three kingdoms? Really odd choice. Lol

That's the weirdest kind of crossover (why no warring states period?) but I'm intrigued.
