Dude had an amazing career. I think he directed an episode of Tales from the Crypt about an escaped lunatic Santa that was fucking badass unless I'm remembering wrong. I went on a date with a girl and we saw Lethal Weapon and I liked the movie more than her lol. He also directed the original The Omen, Scrooged, and The Lost Boys.

EDIT: scratch that on the Santa episode -- that was Robert Zemeckis. Donner directed the equally cool episode with Joe Pantoliano where he's a stunt man that had a cat's gland installed in him that gave him 9 lives, but he realizes he miscounted after they buried him alive.
