Housemarque have released the version 2.0 update for roguelike third-person shooter Returnal, which adds the Suspsend Cycle and Photo Mode features.

The update is live today, letting players pause their cycle and enjoy the beauty of Atropos in Photo Mode.

The fact that it didn't have an option to just quit out and come back to where you were was something that really annoyed me, but in execution, I found I didn't care. I lost way more runs near the launch to bugs and freezes than from anything else. And I got proficient enough to start having much faster runs anyway.

Photo mode sounds cool but the internet hyped me up to the possibility of some extra content or DLC and they haven't fuckin given it to me.

Cool. I got to area 2 then got sidetracked by other games. I need to get back on this game and finish it.

Great to see them add a photo mode to this nice looking game. I would love to play it, but don't own a PS5 and now that more and more exclusives are coming to PC... doesn't increase my motivation to buy a PS5.
