I hope this isn't a one and done effort and Apple starts actually making an effort to bring over more games and work on their MetalFX technology now that their GPU hardware can finally support modern games.
 
It's weird how gaming on Mac never got going, the change to the M1 and the emergence of Vulkan seemed like the perfect time to push hard for it but they didn't (and chose not to support Vulkan I think).

At this point I would just like for games to release on Linux/MacOS/Windows without Windows being the only hassle free option. DirectX 12 with all it's stuttering issue sucks and no dev should use it at this point.

The M1 gpu is weaker than the 2013 Mac Pro AMD gpu. Don't let hype fool you.
