Pedro Pascal has revealed that he deliberately didn't experience too much of The Last of Us game in case it affected his preparation for the upcoming TV adaptation.

The Mandalorian actor, who will play Joel in the small-screen adaptation of Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed game series, told GQ that he was wary of his performance turning into an imitation of the video game version of Joel, a character portrayed by Troy Baker.

Explaining that he didn't have enough skill to play the game, Pascal said he watched his nephew playing it instead.

"I watched for as long as I was able to that day, and then I had to leave Florida," he recalled. "I found Joel so impressive – I found the whole of it such a visually impressive experience. And then I got worried that I would want to imitate too much, which I think could be right in some circumstances, and then a mistake in others.

Got another Halo coming in lmfao.

I think Pascal's a typical liberal tool, judging from his braindead tweets, but the man's a good actor judging from his work in The Mandalorian. It's difficult to act in a mask all the time, yet he managed to do it.

I've no doubt he'll make a good Joel. Whether the series will be any good is anybody's guess. Neil Cuckmann may change the story just to humiliate Joel's character further.

Mandalorian? You should watch Narcos. He's a good actor there. He's a voice actor in Mandalorian.

Surprise: He doesn't need to learn about the character if he dies in the first episode. The rest of the show will be an alternate universe buddy comedy with Ellie and Abby going on adventures together.

I didnt know what a jizzbag this guy was until recently, I'll ignore him now. Same as I ignore any woman on the app that says "no tories" or other such dumb all encompassing trash, who the fuck wants to hear anything from someone who's that brainwashed making comparisons like he did. He's a fucking submental.
